Pushkar is often described in the scriptures as  the only Brahma temple in the world , owing to the curse of Savitri, and as the " King of the sacred places of the Hindus ". sacred lake of the Hindus, Pushkar Lake is of the five most sacred pilgrimage #destinations for the Hindus in India. It is believed that when the lotus petals fell from the hands of the Hindu God of Creation, Lord #Brahma , the Pushkar #Lake was created. This tranquil lake is located in the town of Pushkar in Ajmer district of #Rajasthan . According to the #Hindu scriptures, the sacred lake of Pushk ar is described as "Tirtha Raj” or the king of all pilgrimage sites related to a water body. No pilgrimage is said to be complete unless one takes a holy dip here. Omkareshwar Temple Madhya Pradesh

Omkareshwar is approx. 70 km from Indore, on the banks of holy river Narmada. Road from Indore is beautiful as it pass through ghat section. Actually there are 2 jyotirlinga temple if one has to believe by the priest. one is main Omkareshwar temple and other one is mamleshwar temple which is in the town near to cable bridge. 2 temple together makes a one jyotirlinga temple. Main Omkareshwar temple is on the other side of river narmada. one can go there by boat or by cable strained pedestrian bridge. However later is advisable as a easy walkable path. Omkareshwar main temple having small sanctum area. However darshan is smooth and there is no long queue when we visited. ( most popular travel websites) If time permit you can visit the maheshwar (temple and narmada ghat), roughly 1.30 hrs drive from omkareshwar towards mandu.
